North-east Kansas Rare Bird Sightings
This is an
unofficial record of sightings. For
the purposes of this website, a rare bird is defined as a bird who is an
infrequent visitor to North-east Kansas, or
birds who are difficult to find due to their habits or due to the short
duration of their stays in our area. The following list includes a record of
rare birds that have been reported.
To report a rare bird sighting, please send an email to tas@topekaaudubonsociety.org. Other members will appreciate your
report. You should provide the
location and observation date of the bird, plus a phone number where we can
reach you for further details, if needed.
